To Call a Lost Witch is a ritual written in the Book of Shadows by an unknown descendant of Melinda Warren. It is capable of summoning other witches, and, when reversed, sends the caster to the lost witch.
Charmed Again, Part 1[]
Alone in the attic of the manor, with various ingredients, treasures belonging to her sister and various magical tools, a distraught Piper sat at a table with the Book of Shadows laid open to the page To Call A Lost Witch. Adding the listed ingredients to a silver mortar, she pricked her index finger of her left hand with a ceremonial athame, applying pressure, allowing her blood to drip into the mortar symbolically from her heart, while chanting the Blood to Blood spell in hopes that Prue would return to her. Upon completion of the spell, she heard a voice saying “Piper”; hoping it was Prue, it was only Phoebe. The two discuss Prue, Piper slams the Book shut saying their powers have abandoned them in their time of need; they leave the attic and then the shot pans back to Book, it opens and flips back to the page containing this ritual.
Then Paige Matthews is shown, ultimately receiving her sister Piper's call through the winds in the form of a newspaper open to Prue Halliwell's obituary. Unbeknownst to the sisters and the new Charmed One, the spell worked leading Paige to meet her new destiny and a reconstituted Power of Three.

- Put the following Ingredients in a Silver Mortar:
- A pinch of rosemary
- a sprig of Cypress
- A yarrow root.
- Grind with a Pestle while chanting:
- Power of the witches rise
- Course unseen across the skies
- Come to us who call you near
- Come to us and settle here.
- Spill the blood of the Caller into mortar
- and continue chanting:
- Blood to blood, I summon thee
- Blood to blood, return to me.
Note[]
- The Yarrow Root symbolizes communication upon relatives, the Cypress represents longevity, and the Rosemary Remembrance. Spilling the blood from the left hand allows it to flow directly from the heart.
